Boys & Girls Clubs Host Food and Beverage Tasting Fundraiser – Chico Enterprise-Record

OROVILLE — Boys and Girls Clubs of the North Valley is hosting a fundraising event to support career readiness programs at its two Oroville teen centers. Barrels, Bites and Bounty will be held Friday, June 10 at the Oroville Inn from 6-8 p.m. and will feature local food and beverage vendors competing for the “Best Bite” and “Best Barrel” awards.

The evening will include a sampling of 16 tastings from local food and beverage vendors (wine, beer and cider), live music by Strung Nugget Gang and a raffle. Customers can purchase tickets online or there will be a limited amount at the door. Regular tickets are $20 each for 16 tastings or $30 for a VIP ticket, which includes 10 raffle tickets and an additional tasting.

“Barrels, Bites and Bounty is an opportunity for the community of Oroville and beyond to come support valuable career preparation programs for Oroville teens while enjoying amazing local food and drink. Some of our career preparation programs include internships at Old Navy in Chico, as well as electrician, construction and welding camps,” said Hoppie Campos, Area Director of Teen Services.
